COUNTRY: Puplinge, Switzerland

The Puplinge Classique Festival, besides having a determining role for the youth, organizes a charity concert : three young musicians (Tamara Smirnova, Vladyslava Luchenko and Kateryna Tereshchenko) offered they talent to raise funds for the organization Help Point Sumy, working on the spot for helping diabetic people. Since 2010, the Puplinge Classique Festival has been a major and unmissable meeting: its dynamism, diversity and quality have shaped its renown. If we have in mind the two names of musicians who have been of great significance to Ukrainian classical music, Mykola Lysenko and Serge Prokofiev, that concert was a prized opportunity to more fully discover the sumptuousness of that music. Among those unheralded works, the audience heard the compositions of Semen Gulak-Artemovsky, Miroslav Skoryk and others, but also some popular Ukrainian melodies.
